Jennifer Allen new indie writer thanks so much for sharing your book Our Moon. It made me smile, laugh, remember my own graduation from high school and my parents, with that it also made me cry. I was praying for a HEA. You never forget your 1st love, no matter how much they break your heart! Looking forward to reading your next book!
I met Cassie on-line during the Hot in the Hamptons release party; didn’t know Cassie or familiar with her work. Cassie was a special guest there doing a giveaway and I won an ARC for an honest review.
Cassie’s writing style is similar to Nora Roberts, Kristan Higgins and Janet Evanovich. I found her work to be funny sometimes LOL, sensible, and believable. Her characters have depth, personalities, and angst. The beginning of this plot what I thought was going to happen didn’t occur, I was waiting for my prediction, but she fooled me. The sex scenes were written gives the reader the complete image without being raunchy or too graphic. Overall, this is a fun summer beach read that you could share with a teenager without embarrassment. *****
First time reading this author we met at a release party, picked up her book just to check out new authors. Wow, Dori’s writing floored me, this book has everything that you are looking for; dark adult content, kidnapping, murder, rape, extreme abuse, erotic sex and a little romance. ****
Indebted #5 OMG
Pepper Winter, a beautiful woman; wonder where all the dark images come to mind for you to write detailed ancient torture devices and techniques. So much happened at the end of Indebted #4 that I couldn’t wait until #5 came out to answer certain questions:
I wondered if Jethro, Kes, and Vaugh are dead or alive?
Trying to decipher who is friend or foe?
Is the Debt Inheritance legal, even in this day and age?
Some of the questions are answered yet still some remain, and other issues arise.
Bonnie Hawk, aka the Devil, reincarnated perpetuates the debt inheritance. She is insistent history is going to repeat itself. Nila fell in love with Jethro just like her great- great grandmother, Elisa, fell in love with Jethro’s great-great grandfather, Owen. They even resembled their ancestors. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Spoil alert: A character from another series appears in this volume.
Does Daniel inherit Nila? Does he take her to South Africa? Do his threats come to fruition?
