If I’d Known by Paige P. Horne

It was the summer of 1972 and till this day, I can still remember the way my heart felt the first time I laid eyes on him. Travis Cole was more than just the bad boy from Ft. Pierce Florida. He was my always.

Time is a thief, they say and if you’re not careful it’ll slip right past you, taking everything you hold dear in this world with it. My name is Charlotte Harris and I hold in my heart a timeless tale about true love, loss and everything in between.

*Based on actual events, takes place past and present.

How many times have you ever mumbled or thought those words, if only I’d known, or if I knew then what I know now, would I change anything? Make different choices? Follow my heart, instead of my head, or vice versa.

This is a romantic love story told differently than most, it’s heart-breaking, ugly cry read, that everyone should experience. Afterward, asking about their own life, questions like the ones above, what if? If you have known what was going to happen would you make the same choices? My bet is most wouldn’t change a thing, because I believe, everyone was meant to live the life they have. Their experiences make them the person who they are today.

Thank you, Shabnam Arora, from BookBistroBlog for recommending this author and book, I’m going to start calling you a book whisperer, except you scream your favorites. I’ll find the correct adjective.
