Zandy Lynch never planned on going to grad school a virgin. So when her professor father finds her a job abroad as a research assistant the summer before she starts her master’s program, she sees her chance. She’s got one night in London to lose her V-card to a Mr. Darcy lookalike before she has to join some ancient professor in the country.
Oliver Graeme is not looking forward to having some American co-ed hovering around while he’s trying to work, but he owes her father the favor, and besides, his office is an untidy mess of uncatalogued research. He needs the help. Still, he decides to take the edge off his frustration while visiting a colleague in London, and winds up having the sexiest, sweetest night of his life with a stranger, who vanishes in the morning without a trace…
To Zandy’s shock when she arrives at Professor Graeme’s house a day later, the door isn’t opened by a fussy old scholar, but by the wild, passionate man she met in London. Cold and reserved by day, Oliver is ferociously greedy with her at night, and it’s not long before Zandy finds herself falling for both versions of him—the aloof professor and the generous, rough lover. The trouble is that summer only lasts so long, and Zandy already has a plane ticket waiting to take her home…
Quick, Fun, dirty novella written by the connoisseur of kink. One night stands are never better than one written by the queen of carnal fornication Sierra Simone. Although is one is a novella it’s huge on the things that matter the most.

Remember when we parted ways in Germany? It was the day I broke your heart. What you didn’t know was that I was breaking mine too.
I thought they’d be enough–my husband and my son. That I’d get home and everything would go back to the way it was . . .
Before the war.
Before the ambush.
But, no matter how hard I try, I can’t erase the trauma we shared. I can’t seem to forget the way my heart beat in time with yours.
The truth is I’m lost without you.
I thought the nightmare was over when they pulled us from that hole in the ground, but nothing could have prepared me for the war I’d face at home.
I know it’s selfish of me to ask, but, please, I have to see you one last time. . .
All my love,
About the Authors:
Heather M. Orgeron is a Cajun girl with a big heart and a passion for romance. She married her high school sweetheart two months after graduation and her life has been a fairytale ever since. She’s the queen of her castle, reigning over five sons and one bossy little princess who has made it her mission in life to steal her Momma’s throne. When she’s not writing, you will find her hidden beneath mounds of laundry and piles of dirty dishes or locked in her tower(aka the bathroom) soaking in the tub with a good book. She’s always been an avid reader and has recently discovered a love for cultivating romantic stories of her own.
A Texas native, Kate Stewart lives in North Carolina with her husband, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie. She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense because it’s what she loves as a reader. Kate is a lover of all things ’80s and ’90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. She dabbles a little in photography, can knit a simple stitch scarf for necessity, and on occasion, does very well at whisky.
I was introduced to Kate Stewart’s work earlier this year and had the privilege of meeting her in person at an intimate event, and then again at a signing, Books by the Bridge in NYC. BTW Kate is personable, very talented, funny, humble and downright all around awesome, just saying. At this time she mentioned she was working on a project with Heather and was looking forward to seeing our reactions. When the time came for cover release, I was floored and thought OMG am I going to be able to read this Military romance without crumbling into a ball of snot rocking back and forth, having a psychotic episode.
You see after September 11, 2001; everything changed in the Northeast part of the United States. My backstory, I worked for Merrill Lynch at World Financial Center, 18th floor, the south tower, as an Employee Benefits Specialist. Merrill Lynch reorganized corporate structure and moved my department to Hopewell, New Jersey on July 22, my last day in NYC was Friday, July 20th, just six weeks before this life-altering event that has changed our World in which we live in today. Nine Eleven affected me in more ways than I care to think about or remember, please keep this in mind when reading my review.
ARC’s were released yesterday, not remembering my earlier thoughts when the cover was released, I was excited to download and start my epic journey.
Immediately, I was hooked and couldn’t stop reading. My emotions were all over the place; Proud of a woman joining the Army, becoming a medic. Then saddened Kate was leaving her life as a wife and mom behind to serve her country overseas in a war zone. Suddenly worried when she went off base, to horrified and tortured wondering if she was going to survive her ordeal. The unease I felt was nothing compared to what Kate had suffered during her time aboard and upon her return home. There are two Kate’s before the war, and after the war, both are the same in ways a loving woman, mother, and sister but opposite in others ways, a hot mess ready to explode at any sudden noises. As a reader, I often find myself torn between two men in the story, hoping the right man to win the girl, in this story, I’m rooting for Kate to survive and come out the other side. Huge difference.
Also, the authors pulled no punches when it came time to yank the emotional ties that bind us all together. Heartbreak Warfare is a phenomenal work of fiction, but please keep in mind that twenty-two veterans commit suicide every day and those people are who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. As we approach Veteran’s Day, please be thankful and mindful to those who have served our Country.
